Preparation
During this process, the sculptor has regular contacts with colleagues from the mould, casting and painting departments to make sure that later on the figurine can be fitted together and painted.

Besides special metal modelling tools, selfmade wooden instruments are also used. With the help of dividers, proportions and measurements are exactly maintained.



By the time the clay model is ready, the sculptor has reworked every detail several times. This very accurate work takes several weeks.
